Staff

Kelly

  • President and Social Services Director, Kelly Rourke, has a Masters Degree in School Counseling and a Liberal Science Degree in Family Studies and Human Development. Kelly has experience as a school counselor, social worker, mental health case worker, and is bilingual in Spanish. Above all, Kelly is married and the proud mother of three children.

Angie

  • Vice President and Agency Employee Director, Angie Penrose, has a Post Baccalaureate Elementary Education Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a concentration in writing. Angie has experience as a 2nd grade teacher and is the adoptive mother of three siblings from Russia.

Lisa

  • International Program Manager / Business Manager / Social Worker
  • Lisa is a married mother of three internationally adopted children.
  • Lisa also heads up our waiting parent education.

Terry

  • Domestic Adoption Program Coordinator / Social Worker
  • Terry is a married mother of identical preteen twin girls.
  • Terry has a Master’s Degree Clinical / Community Psychology and is a licensed professional counselor. She has 13 years experience working with families and children.
  • Terry is also our birth mother counselor.

Hydee

  • Interstate Program Coordinator / Social Worker
  • Hydee has a Master’s degree in Social Work and has over ten years experience in child welfare.
  • Hydee is a  PS-MAPP Leader and co-leads BAF Interstate Adoption trainings.
  • She is also a world renowned traveler, having traveled to China, Africa, and Romania.

Angela

  • Social Worker/Interstate Program Assistant
  • Angela is married and the mother of two children.
  • Angela has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and is licensed in the state of Arizona.
  • She also has more than 7 years experience  working with children and families.
  • She has worked as a counselor in the mental health setting.
  • Other experience includes family and group counseling, art and play therapy and advocacy work for children and disenfranchised families.

Jeff

  • Social Worker
  • Jeff is a married father of three children.
  • Jeff has a Master’s Degree Public Administration. He has 13 years of social service experience and 11 years of writing child welfare reports.

Sharon

  • Social Worker
  • Sharon is married with three grown children and 5 grandchildren.
  • She has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

Kelsie

  • Social Worker
  • Kelsie is married and has a Master’s in Bilingual / Multicultural Education.

Dina

  • Social Worker
  • Dina is a married mother of two. She and her husband hope to adopt a child someday.
  • Dina is a licensed mental health counselor who has worked to build strong families and communities for the past 15 years.
  • Dina is also an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College and holds Masters Degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling & Business Administration.
