Angie has a Post Baccalaureate Elementary Education Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a concentration in writing. Angie has experience as a 2nd grade teacher and is the adoptive mother of three siblings from Russia.

Lisa is the mother to four internationally adopted children. She has a BS from Iowa State University and AS from Johnson and Wales University. She joined the BAF staff in 2006.
|Hydee R., Interstate Adoption Program Coordinator
Hydee has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She has over 13 years experience working in child welfare, including 10 years in foster care and adoption. Hydee is married and has two young children.

Angela holds a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University and is licensed in the state of Arizona. She has over 13 years of experience with children and families in the mental health setting. Angela is also married and mother to two beautiful children.

Myriah is the proud mother of a 3 year old son. She has a Bachelors degree in Human Services in Woman’s Health from Prescott College. Over the past 8 years she has worked with children and families as a women’s advocate and midwife assistant.
|Melinda C., Social Worker
Melinda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from Arizona State University. She is a trained Behavioral Health Technician and serves as a Clinical Liaison in Arizona’s public behavioral health system. She also has more than 15 years experience working with children and families and has worked as a counselor in the mental health setting. Melinda is married and the mother of two children.
|Debbie J., Social Worker
Debbie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science. She has assisted families with all different types of adoptions, including domestic birthmother adoptions, adoptions from the foster care system, and international adoptions. Debbie has also worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Debbie is the proud aunt of two nieces and a nephew who were adopted as a sibling group from Russia.

Michelle obtained her degree in Child and Family Services from Iowa State University. Her experience includes working at Royal Family Kids Camp (a camp for foster children), a group home for teenage boys, a non-profit parenting organization and volunteering with the youth at her church. Michelle and her husband have one son.

Lisa is married, the mother of three and grandmother of one. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Resources and Human Development from Arizona State University. Since receiving her degree, she has enjoyed working in Social Work with families and children. Lisa has been employed with Building Arizona Families since 2006.

Jason has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Portland State University and is working on his Masters in Social Work at ASU. He also has more than 4 years experience working with children that have emotional disturbances or developmental disabilities. Jason is married and the father of five children.
|Patrick C., Social Worker
Patrick is married with three wonderful children. He has Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice from Arizona State University. Patrick has more than 12 years of experience with children and their families, working as a juvenile probation officer.
|Sharon C., Social Worker
Sharon is married, the mother of three children, grandmother of five children, and has one great-grandson. Sharon has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and is licensed in the state of Arizona. As a teacher, she has worked with children and families for over fifteen years and as a social worker for over seven years.
|Michele F., Social Worker
Michele is married and the mother to three daughters. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and is licensed in the state of Arizona. She also has more than 10 years experience working with children and families and has worked as a professional social worker in both child welfare and divorce mediation settings.

Dina has a masters degree in counseling from the University of Arizona and is a mother of 2 boys. She has been working with Building Arizona families for the past 5 years.
|Becky M., Domestic Adoption Family Case Manager
Becky ismarried and the proud mother of two sons, both adopted at birth. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Psychology from Ottawa University. She has experience with children and families working as a director of children’s ministries.
