Adopting a Baby is a Blessing for Everyone
Interested in adopting a baby? Building Arizona Families has a wonderful program called the
Domestic Newborn Adoption program. It is a blessing in so many ways! Most importantly, the
baby is blessed with a loving, safe, and stable family to grow up in. The adoptive family is blessed with the precious gift of an infant to love. The birth mother, who made the difficult decision to place her baby for adoption, is blessed with the peace of mind of knowing that her baby will grow up in a nurturing environment and have tremendous opportunities for a bright future.
Building Arizona Families’ Domestic Newborn Adoption Program
The Domestic Newborn Adoption program includes a matching process of the birth mother and
the prospective family. The birth mother and the adoptive family “choose” one another. The birth mother chooses the family based on her personal preferences of the parent(s) and home she wants her child raised in. The adoptive family chooses the birth mother based on their preferences for the child they want to adopt into their forever family. This “matching” process creates the optimum experience for birth mother and adoptive family. The matching process for the adoptive family can include ethnicity and health of the newborn. Preferences for matching from the birth mother can vary, including ethnicity, marital status, lifestyle, income and educational levels, etc.
Time Involved in Adopting a Baby
The length of time an adoptive family waits to be matched is unpredictable as there are numerous factors involved. In general, the more specific the criteria for matching, the longer the matching process takes. However, Building Arizona Families actively recruits birth mother who have decided they are not able to parent their babies. Building Arizona Families is committed to the birth mothers to help ensure they have a healthy pregnancy and has a program for aftercare as well to help birth mothers move forward towards a brighter future.
