The BAF Domestic Adoption
April 2022 Newsletter
I’m sure you are aware of the costs of living going up. It’s pretty hard to miss! But did you realize that for people who were just barely getting by, inflation is forcing thousands of people into homelessness? Tent cities are springing up around homeless shelters. Along with the increase in inflation and homelessness, there is also an increase in crime. Vulnerable women who have been abused, trafficked, and trapped in cycles of addiction are finding life on the streets more dangerous than ever.
When Mariah (name changed to protect her privacy) found out she was pregnant, she knew she could not remain in the abusive relationship she was in. The shelters were all full, so with no place to go, she chose living on the streets instead of living with her boyfriend. Life on the streets was hard, but enduring the constant battering was even harder. She just couldn’t bear the thought of her baby being hit before she was ever born.
Fortunately, one of the ladies she met on the streets knew about Building Arizona Families. When Mariah called our hotline, we were immediately able to go pick her up, provide safe, emergency housing, food, clothing, and counseling. As a result, Mariah’s beautiful baby girl was born, placed with a loving family, and Mariah is now drug-free, finished her GED, and is enrolled at a local community college. She wants to use her education to help abused women.
“May you always know, little one, that you were wished for, longed
for, prayed for, and will be forever loved.”

Not every story of pregnant women on the streets has this kind of a happy ending. It absolutely could! We can’t help these vulnerable pregnant women and unborn babies if they don’t know about us. We need your help to get the word out to the streets where thousands of desperate, homeless pregnant women are living. It costs us about $145 to locate other women like Mariah. Can you help? It is tax-deductible and 100% guaranteed to change at least three lives – the unborn baby, the birth mother, and the adoptive family. It is $145 well invested! Plus, it doesn’t have to be $145, no gift is too small CLICK HERE! if you can help, and as always, thank you for caring so deeply about unborn babies, birth moms, and adoptive families!
All the best,
