     I hope you and yours are doing well!  It’s back to school time in Arizona, and well over a million children started school this month.

     When we think about our children going back to school, what many people are unaware of is how many children are returning to school pregnant, or will become pregnant this year.   Teenage pregnancy in Arizona is an untold crisis. Sexually active teenagers have the highest unintended pregnancy rate of any age group.  Unfortunately, Arizona’s teenage pregnancy rate is 7% higher than the national average, and 22 out of every 1,000 teenage girls will become pregnant this year.

    Thankfully, Arizona legislature has protected the rights of parents to access their children’s medical records, and the lives of unborn babies are more protected than ever before.  However, that does not mean that the young pregnant girl or her parents will get the information they need.  By now, you are probably asking – what does this have to do with you, your family, and adoption?  Well, I hope you will agree with me that if you care about unborn babies, the issue of teenage pregnancy is a crisis that needs all of us to take action.

     What can we do?  We need to educate school districts, schools, parents, and frightened pregnant teenagers about the triple blessing of adoption.  Teenage girls who have their entire lives ahead of them can give their baby the greatest gift of all – life and a bright future through adoption, while protecting their minds and hearts from the psychological trauma that abortion causes.
     Can you help us get the word out?  

Download our complimentary brochure and take it to your child’s school counselor.  Share it at the school district so they can distribute it to all of their schools. Give it to your pastor, priest, or rabbi. Share it with teachers and coaches. Please let them know that we can support young girls who are pregnant, and that there is absolutely no cost for our adoption services. 

Please help us reach pregnant teenage girls and their parents.  Their futures hang in the balance   and so do the lives of their unborn babies. 

We must act now.

As always, educating pregnant women in crisis to save the lives of unborn babies is expensive. It costs us about $145 to locate pregnant women in crisis and share the positive option of adoption.  And please remember that every adoption changes at least three lives – the unborn baby, the birth mother, and the adoptive family!  I’m sure your budgets are stretched too, but I also know you care deeply about adoption.
