As the cost of housing rises, access to affordable housing decreases, and the homeless population swells. In the past two years, homelessness in Arizona’s largest county has increased by a whopping 35%! You might wonder what this has to do with newborn adoption? Women experiencing Arizona crisis pregnancies frequently find themselves homeless, increasing their pregnancy risk factors exponentially.
Education for Women Experiencing an Arizona Crisis Pregnancy
So many women struggling with an Arizona crisis pregnancy simply don’t know that help is just a phone call away! They don’t know that when they make the courageous decision to place their babies for adoption, Building Arizona Families supports them through their entire pregnancy! This support can include healthcare, counseling, housing, and transportation. It’s heartbreaking to think that many U.S. families are waiting and hoping for a birth mother to choose them for their newborn adoption, while so many birth mothers feel trapped with no options. Please help us get the word out that we can help – there is no such thing as an unwanted baby!
Building Arizona Families has been providing newborn adoption services for over 15 years. Families from around the United States are eligible to engage with our newborn adoption services, adopting a baby from an Arizona birth mother who has placed her baby through our Arizona adoption agency.
We walk beside birth mothers struggling with Arizona crisis pregnancies who decide to give their babies the gift of life and the promise of a bright future through the miracle of adoption. They participate in our newborn adoption program and place their babies with the adoptive families of their choosing. This past month, Building Arizona Families celebrated placing three newborn babies in the arms of loving adoptive families!
Once a birth mother experiencing an Arizona crisis pregnancy places her baby for newborn adoption, Building Arizona Families continues to support her. We introduce birth mothers to new opportunities through the Donna K Evans Foundation. Birth mothers are provided interview and job training skills, résumé writing services, help with back-to-school registration, and more. We believe that courageous birth mothers need the support necessary to move forward into a bright future.
